LXR - Gateshead round trip to Newby Bridge

Gateshead McDonald's metro-centre, Derwentwater reservoir, Hartside, Penrith, Honister pass, Ulswater, Windermere, Newby Bridge.
We decided to take on this adventure as a break from work and life in general and to catch up with some old friends. Before we set off, the only preparations we made to the bikes were that we all got our bikes serviced to help reduce any breakdowns on the way.
We wanted to take a route that would fun and not too much of a struggle for the different 125cc bikes, plenty of twistys and excellent vistas. My favourite parts about doing this is that we get to meet up with friends and Honiston pass is a road with a view not to be missed. The LXR feels like a big bike on the twisty roads and extremely comfortable for a sports bike considering on one a stretch I was sat on her for 2hrs.
Get some friends and go for a ride there's nowhere to far to travel on an LXR in the UK. 2021 SC500 is the next adventure planned!
